EmergencyDispatcherPro Brings Search-and-Rescue Missions to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 pilots can now trade routine sightseeing flights for emergency calls, medical evacuations and high-pressure rescue operations with the release of EmergencyDispatcherPro.
Developed by Miravia Softworks and published through Aerosoft, EmergencyDispatcherPro is now available for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The new mission system places virtual pilots in dispatcher-controlled emergency scenarios, including search-and-rescue operations, medical evacuations and maritime response missions.
Rather than following a collection of completely scripted missions, EmergencyDispatcherPro generates calls based on factors such as the pilot’s location, selected mission duration and available aircraft or equipment. This is designed to give each assignment a different route, challenge and outcome.
Answer the Call
EmergencyDispatcherPro introduces an external dispatch interface that assigns missions, provides operational updates and tracks the pilot’s progress throughout the response.
Pilots may be asked to locate a missing vessel, transport a patient, support a maritime emergency or respond to another time-sensitive incident. Objectives and voice communications can change as the situation develops, adding an element of uncertainty that is often missing from traditional free-flight operations.
Once the mission is complete, pilots receive a debriefing and performance evaluation covering how the response was handled.
In other words, this is not merely another excuse to fly in circles while insisting you are “testing the autopilot.”
Aircraft Flexibility
EmergencyDispatcherPro is aircraft-agnostic and can be used with helicopters, turboprops and jets. However, many of its search-and-rescue and maritime missions appear particularly suited to rotary-wing aircraft.
Compatible aircraft highlighted around the release include:
- Miltech Simulations MH-60
- CowanSim S-76C++
- Hype Performance Group H145
- Blackbird Simulations C-130
- Miltech Simulations CH-47D
- Miltech Simulations MV-22
- Microsoft H225
- Microsoft EC135
- MBB Bo 105
Owners of the HPG H145 and its Action Pack can also participate in hoist-style rescue missions.
Pilots are not restricted to those aircraft, allowing users to choose equipment appropriate for the mission or create their own unconventional emergency-response fleet.
Built for Coastal Operations
Many of the missions are centered around United States Coast Guard-style operations. Pilots can launch from Coast Guard bases and respond to incidents involving patients, vessels and emergencies along coastal areas.
The system includes mission briefings, map information, patient-care elements, aircraft status information, scoring and detailed post-mission debriefings.
The result is a more structured flying experience for pilots who want something beyond airline schedules or casual sightseeing.
Available Now
EmergencyDispatcherPro was released on July 2, 2026, exclusively through the Aerosoft Store. The regular price is listed at approximately $33.99 USD before applicable taxes. A free 24-hour trial is also available, giving pilots an opportunity to test the dispatch and mission system before purchasing.
For virtual pilots interested in helicopter operations, emergency medicine, maritime aviation or search-and-rescue flying, EmergencyDispatcherPro could provide an entirely new reason to climb into the cockpit.
The dispatcher is waiting. Hopefully, the patient is more patient than your passengers usually are.
