The standard A330-900neo is available now through Aerosoft’s store, where it launched as version 1.0.0. Aerosoft lists the aircraft at $29.99 in its U.S. store, positioning it well below many high-end long-haul aircraft add-ons.
The bigger surprise, however, came alongside the release.
Aerosoft confirmed that its collaboration with ToLiss will continue beyond the A340-600 Pro, with the two companies beginning work on an A330 NEO Pro specifically for MSFS 2024.
The A330-900neo Is Available Now
Aerosoft’s newly released aircraft represents the A330-900neo and is designed specifically for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
The developer says the aircraft was built using real-world references and technical documentation and includes a custom fly-by-wire system with both Normal Law and Direct Law, Airbus-style flight-envelope protections and dedicated flare logic for the neo.
The product also includes a fully modeled cockpit and passenger cabin, animated passenger and cargo doors, custom aircraft systems and a detailed aerodynamic model.
Aerosoft says the A330-900neo is currently exclusive to MSFS 2024.
Custom Fly-by-Wire and Flare Law
Aerosoft has developed custom flight-control logic rather than simply relying on Microsoft Flight Simulator’s default handling systems.
The aircraft includes Normal Law and Direct Law, along with Airbus-style flight-envelope protections.
A dedicated neo flare law activates at approximately 100 feet radio altitude. At that point, stabilizer trim is frozen and the relationship between sidestick input and elevator response becomes more direct.
The aircraft also models its inboard and outboard ailerons separately, along with six spoiler panels on each wing.
At higher speeds in clean configuration, the outboard ailerons are automatically inhibited, reproducing part of the real aircraft’s flight-control behavior.
Hydraulics Affect the Flight Controls
The flight-control surfaces are connected to the aircraft’s hydraulic simulation.
Aerosoft says hydraulic pressure can directly affect spoiler and aileron behavior, including spoiler retraction and aileron droop following pressure loss.
That is important because it means the flight controls are not merely animated based on pilot input.
Their behavior is tied to the systems powering them.
The aerodynamic model also includes individual effects from flaps, spoilers and landing gear.
LNAV and VNAV Are Included
Aerosoft has built its own flight-management system for the aircraft.
The developer confirms that both LNAV and VNAV are implemented, with lateral and vertical guidance tied into the associated autopilot modes.
That addresses one of the more closely watched aspects of Aerosoft’s recent Airbus development because long-haul flying depends heavily on reliable managed navigation.
The aircraft also supports OANS, Airbus’ Onboard Airport Navigation System, giving pilots airport-map functionality during ground operations.
A Modern A330neo Flight Deck
Aerosoft’s A330neo models the updated cockpit environment found in the newer aircraft rather than simply placing new engines onto its earlier A330ceo product.
The cockpit features high-resolution textures, integrated lighting, custom animations and interactive controls.
A head-up display is not included in the current aircraft, something Aerosoft explicitly confirms in its FAQ.
Only the A330-900 is currently planned.
Aerosoft says there are no current plans for an A330-800 variant.
SimBrief Integration Is Included
The aircraft supports direct SimBrief flight-plan importing through its Electronic Flight Bag.
Aerosoft says the EFB can import the flight plan and automatically load the aircraft with the appropriate values.
That should make airline-style setup considerably quicker for users already building operational flight plans through SimBrief.
The aircraft is also designed to work with online networks including VATSIM, IVAO and PilotEdge.
GSX Compatibility
Aerosoft confirms that the aircraft is fully GSX compatible.
For a long-haul widebody, that is particularly useful because GSX can handle passenger boarding, cargo loading, refueling, catering and pushback operations.
The A330neo also includes animated passenger and cargo doors and a completely modeled passenger cabin.
So yes, virtual passengers can now spend an appropriate amount of time blocking the aisle while apparently reconsidering every decision that led them to seat 43A.
The A330ceo Is Getting an Overhaul Too
Aerosoft has also clarified what happens to its older A330ceo.
Once the A330neo has been released and refined, the company plans to turn its attention toward bringing the A330ceo up to the same technical standard as the neo.
That work is expected to include bug fixes and technical improvements.
Aerosoft has not yet released the complete changelog for that overhaul.
The company describes the neo as a good indication of the functionality, detail and quality it intends to bring back into the ceo product.
Then Aerosoft Dropped the Bigger Announcement
The release alone would have been noteworthy.
Then Aerosoft announced another A330.
In its community statement, the company confirmed:
Aerosoft and ToLiss are collaborating on an A330 NEO Pro for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
This will be a separate product from the A330-900neo that just launched.
Aerosoft was explicit about that distinction.
The aircraft available today was developed by the Aerosoft development team alone.
The future A330 NEO Pro will be the joint Aerosoft-ToLiss project.
The ToLiss Partnership Continues
Aerosoft and ToLiss previously collaborated on the A340-600 Pro for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
That project combined Aerosoft’s visual development and publishing work with ToLiss’ experience developing advanced Airbus systems and flight models.
Aerosoft says the response to the A340-600 Pro encouraged the companies to work together again.
The result will be the A330 NEO Pro.
For users familiar with ToLiss from X-Plane, the announcement should immediately raise expectations about systems depth.
ToLiss already develops its own A330-900 for X-Plane, featuring detailed Airbus systems including DRAIMS, traffic-awareness functions, runway overrun protection and extensive flight-management logic.
Do Not Expect the Pro Version Soon
There is a giant caution flag attached to this announcement.
Aerosoft says development of the A330 NEO Pro has only just begun.
There is no release date.
There is no release window.
There is no price.
And Aerosoft specifically warns users that the project will take time.
ToLiss is currently busy with its A350 collaboration for X-Plane, and Aerosoft says there is also a significant list of updates still to complete for the A340-600 Pro before the A330neo Pro reaches release.
So this is a development confirmation, not a “coming next month” announcement.
Two Very Different A330neo Products
That leaves Aerosoft with an unusual product strategy.
The company will effectively offer two A330neo experiences.
The aircraft released now is designed as the more accessible option.
The future ToLiss collaboration will target users looking for a deeper simulation.
Aerosoft’s current A330neo sits at $29.99 in the U.S. store, dramatically below the pricing normally associated with premium widebody simulations.
That pricing helps explain where the current product fits.
It is not being positioned as the final word in study-level A330 simulation.
That job is apparently being reserved for the Pro.
Early Reviews Are Mixed
Because the aircraft arrived with relatively little warning, independent testing is only beginning.
One early review published immediately after release scored the aircraft 5 out of 10, arguing that although the feature set is broad, portions of the product need additional refinement.
That is worth keeping in perspective.
The aircraft has been available for barely a day.
More detailed reviews, patches and user feedback will give a much clearer picture of its long-term quality.
For now, buyers should distinguish between what Aerosoft’s feature list says is implemented and how consistently those features perform across real flights.
MSFS 2024 Only
Aerosoft’s current product page now confirms that the A330-900neo is specifically for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
That is an important change from some earlier development information, which had suggested support for both simulator generations.
The final release has moved entirely to MSFS 2024.

There were questions about systems depth.
Then, on August 31, the A330-900neo simply appeared for sale.
And buried inside the announcement was confirmation that Aerosoft and ToLiss are going to build another one.
It is an unusual ending and an even more unusual beginning.
The accessible A330neo is available now.
The ceo is scheduled for another overhaul.
And somewhere farther down the development runway, a much deeper ToLiss-powered A330 NEO Pro is beginning to take shape.
