Infinite Flight Adds A320neo, Interactive Pushback and Expanded Cockpit Systems

Infinite Flight has released Version 26.5, bringing an Airbus A320neo, expanded cockpit functionality and more interactive ground operations to its mobile flight simulator.

Infinite Flight Adds A320neo, Interactive Pushback and Expanded Cockpit Systems

Announced October 29, the release gives phone and tablet pilots new ways to manage their flights, from planning the route to choosing the tug that pushes them away from the gate. Infinite Flight is available on iOS and Android.

Apparently, flying the aircraft wasn’t enough responsibility. Now you can drive the pushback tug, too.

A320neo Joins the Fleet

The new A320neo arrives with more than 30 liveries, interactive cockpit controls and custom sounds, building on the developer’s earlier A321neo work.

Version 26.5 also expands systems, displays and flight management pages across much of the existing fleet. Aircraft receiving attention include the CRJ series, E-Jets, several Airbus families and Boeing’s 737 and 777.

Refreshed cockpit shading accompanies those changes, giving returning pilots another reason to revisit aircraft already in their virtual hangars.

Pushback Becomes Part of the Experience

Animated towbar and towbarless tugs support automatic and manual pushback. Pilots can choose a tug, ride along or take the controls themselves.

A new Stand Reservation System on the Expert server holds a parking position while a flight loads. Live fleets can also book stays according to airport activity.

These additions bring more interaction to the time spent on the ground—a part of airline flying that often gets overshadowed by the departure itself.

More Capable Flight Planning

The release adds enroute airways to flight plans and the FMS, with advanced departure, arrival and approach legs available to Pro subscribers.

A Procedure Overview panel presents approach information and minimums. The developer also lists improvements to LNAV and VNAV behavior through procedures, holds and missed approaches.

Flight Information on the iPhone Lock Screen

For iPhone users, Live Activities now display information for AP+ and Live flights on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.

Rendering-quality presets, additional anti-aliasing options and ground-service vehicle sounds round out the broader release.

Follow-Up Fixes Already Available

Infinite Flight has since published Version 26.5.1 fixes addressing content-download difficulties, resumed Live flights appearing frozen to other pilots and ATC observation behavior.

Mobile pilots should check their device’s app store for the latest available version. Some capabilities require Pro membership.
