Available now through the in-sim Marketplace, the October 26 release covers Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. It gives pilots fresh destinations for sightseeing, regional flights and landing challenges—without adding another charge to the virtual aviation budget.
Your passengers may question the sightseeing detour. Tell them it’s a complimentary service.
Updated Cities and 77 Landmarks
Microsoft reports 12 enhanced areas using photogrammetry, updated surface texturing and elevation data. Named locations include Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk, Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius and Kaunas.
The package also adds 77 points of interest, with castles, bridges, towers and lighthouses giving low-level explorers plenty to find. Highlights include Lithuania’s Trakai Island Castle and Poland’s Malbork Castle.
Five Handcrafted Airports
Gaya has created five airports for the update:
- Kärdla Airport (EEKA), Estonia
- Jūrmala Airport (EVJA), Latvia
- Palanga International Airport (EYPA), Lithuania
- Warsaw-Babice Airport (EPBC), Poland
- Opole-Kamień Śląski Airport (EPKN), Poland
Together, they provide new bases for exploring the region, from Baltic island flying to arrivals near the Polish capital.

Discovery Flights and a Pier Landing
Both simulator editions receive Discovery Flights over Warsaw, Sigulda and Tallinn, alongside four airport landing activities.
MSFS 2024 adds a Tatra National Park guided tour, a rally race and the Sopot Landing Challenge, inspired by Łukasz Czepiela’s landing on the wooden pier.
That last one should offer a memorable change from the usual runway arrival. This would be an excellent time to double-check which aircraft you selected.
Free and Available Now
Owners of MSFS 2020 or MSFS 2024 can download World Update 23 at no additional cost. Update the simulator to its latest version, then find the regional package in the Marketplace.
Whether you prefer a relaxed sightseeing circuit or a longer journey between Baltic destinations, the update supplies a welcome reason to draw a different line on the flight-planning map.
