Released October 29 for PC and Xbox, the scenery combines Santa Barbara’s distinctive terminal architecture with detailed airport facilities serving airline, business aviation and general aviation traffic. It is available through the in-sim Marketplace and several PC retailers.
With the ocean on one side and the Santa Ynez Mountains nearby, this is an arrival that deserves a window seat. Conveniently, the captain already has one.
A Terminal With California Character
Gaya’s recreation puts Santa Barbara’s Spanish-style architecture front and center, including red-tiled roofs, arched walkways and landscaped courtyards.
The package includes a detailed terminal interior, custom passengers and airport personnel, plus vehicles ranging from buses to ground-support equipment.
Outside the terminal, the scenery extends to approach roads, sidewalks, drop-off areas and signage. Airport landmarks include the control tower, visitor center and fire station.
Detail Beyond the Airline Gates
Runways, taxiways and aprons feature surface variation, weathering and airport markings. Gaya also includes general aviation and business aviation facilities, with hangars and smaller environmental details across the field.
That gives the scenery appeal beyond scheduled passenger flights. A coastal sightseeing trip in a light aircraft or a business jet arrival offers another way to explore the airport.
Built for MSFS 2024
Retailers identify Santa Barbara as a native MSFS 2024 product. Gaya says optimization has been a priority, with the goal of balancing visual detail and performance.

Actual results will depend on hardware, settings and traffic. This is a release report rather than a Sky Blue Radio performance review.
