Two Simulators, One Virtual Airline Career
OnTime Turnaround is designed to make a complete day of virtual airline flying matter. Rather than treating every flight as a separate event, the application follows a multi-sector roster from the first departure through the final arrival.
If the first flight leaves late, that delay carries forward and affects the remaining sectors. Pilots must either recover the lost time during later turnarounds or watch their carefully planned schedule slowly unravel—just like a real day in airline operations.
Sky Blue Radio News first covered OnTime Turnaround in July, when the utility was being developed primarily for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The addition of X-Plane 12 is the biggest change since that initial announcement.
Both versions are now in closed beta testing and will offer the same core features at launch. One license covers both simulators at no additional cost, allowing pilots to move between them while keeping the same logbook, rank and leaderboard position.
Features Available at Launch
Pilots will be able to build their own multi-leg rosters or select flights using the application’s built-in real-world schedule tool. OnTime Turnaround then monitors the aircraft through simulator telemetry and automatically records each phase of flight, from preflight through block-in.

The events system will feature special schedules that pilots can complete to earn additional rank points. A dedicated launch event is planned for the first week following release.
Groups will allow friends to compare statistics and follow one another’s progress. However, the feature does not add multiplayer, shared-cockpit functionality or shared aircraft sessions.
Development has now reached feature freeze. The remaining time before release will be devoted to bug testing, stability and final polish across both simulators.
Launching at FSimUK 2026
OnTime Turnaround will officially launch Saturday, October 10, during the opening day of FSimUK 2026. The event takes place at Aerospace Bristol, home of the final Concorde ever to fly.
Visitors will be able to see the program operating with both supported simulators and purchase it directly from the OnTime Turnaround stand. The exact launch time and stand location will be announced closer to the event.
OnTime Turnaround will not be the only anticipated flight-simulation product appearing at the show. The upcoming iniBuilds A380 will also be demonstrated at FSimUK, giving attendees another major reason to visit Bristol in October.
Pricing and Launch-Weekend Discount
OnTime Turnaround will cost €22.99 as a one-time payment for a lifetime license. It is not a subscription, and the same license covers Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane 12. An internet connection will be required.
A 15% launch-weekend discount will reduce the price to €19.54 for customers purchasing at the show or online. The promotional code FSimUK2026 can be entered during checkout at ontimeturn.com.
